I was hesitant to try this product, since my lips are always very, very dry and I have to use some serious lip balm regularly for them to stay supple. But since they are always dry and I never feel like I can get the old chapped skin off, I thought I'd try it and see. But after 3 weeks I am extremely impressed; this product does what it says it will do. I've been using it twice a say in the morning and night (as opposed to once, which is the common recommendation), and my lips are smooth and calm! I have noticed that they are more prone to dryness if I don't keep a balm on them, but that's to be expected from a "peel," and I think if I drop down to daily or every other day use this will resolve. I roll it on (it's pretty watery, so you don't need to use a lot), let dry until tacky, then put a good moisturizer on top (for some reason Nuxe's matte lip balm works wonders over it). I was going to say I'll purchase it again, but this will last FOREVER - it looks like I haven't even opened it, although it's been over 40 applications. Recommend!I was skeptical because of the bad reviews, but I had read how good this was on another site. I decided to try it. My lips really did plump up. Here’s what you need to know... this is glycolic acid. Any acid, if your skin is not use to it, will make you peel until you’re use to it. Start out by doing every other day, and keep some sort of lip balm/chapstick on them. I use one with sunscreen. After that settles in you can put on lipstick. You will have to keep your lips moisturized until you’re use to it. You’ll still have to put something to moisturizer them on immediately following use...like it says. I use it at night right as I’m going to bed. I let it dry then put on some heavy lip balm. If I do happen to use it during the day..I put chapstick with sunscreen on. I loved this so much and didn’t want to run out, I found it on sale for Black Friday and bought 3 of them. I don’t have a lot of time to write reviews, but I felt this product had gotten a bum rap on here due to people freaking out from the initial peeling, and dryness.So happy with this stuff I use it twice once in the am once in the Pm. I exfoliate my lips with a lip scrub an lip brush twice a week also. At first I though this wasn’t doin anything but I woke up an my bottom lip was super pink. Iv never seen it so pink I’m happy and will continue to buy thisI don’t normally write reviews, but this stuff is life changing! I have struggled my whole life with keeping my lips moisturized. They always seem to be dry and peeling no matter what product/ how much/ often I apply it. I had to exfoliate my lips multiple times a week to keep the dryness at bay. As a singer I think part of the issue is that I always have to flap these lips around lol. It made it hard to wear lipstick which I like to do when performing. This stuff is incredible. Idk exactly how it works, but my lips have never been more smooth and plump. I don’t have to apply lip products nearly as often. It’s been a week since I applied some and my lips STILL feel amazing. Never would have imagined this result. A little goes a long way and it doesn’t taste like anything IMO. Extremely satisfied. If you struggle with dry lips, try this holy grail product!Not sure why it’s called hydrating lip peel because there aren’t really any hydrating ingredients. Maybe hydrating because getting the dead skin off allows moisture to penetrate better? Idk. I love that it exfoliates my dry lips. I use this at night and then a day or two later, I use a lip scrub to help pick up some of that dead skin that it surfaced. I’ll probably buy again because it’s one of the only products of its kind on the market. I always make sure to use a soothing lip balm afterwards too. Hoping that long term it will help some of the discoloration on my lips from picking at them.My lips started peeling on the top but not the bottom where I really need it. Also it hurtsThis exceeded my expectations. I did a lot of research on their website beforehand and followed the instructions exactly. Within a few days my lips have been so much softer, plumper, lighter in color, and overall much smoother. This is the only product I’ve found like this! I rarely write reviews but I am so happy with this lip peel.Any negative reviews on here are due to not following instructions/lack of research.It is SUPPOSED to be bitter to prevent you from licking it off! It’s also ACID so it makes sense. You have to be sure to apply flavored chapstick/lip balm immediately after it dries, it will neutralize the taste and keep your lips moisturized longer.I use this multiple times a day because I have a thick lower lip and it dries quickly in the winter. It will start peeling the dead skin right away but try not to pick at it! A gentle exfoliation will remove the excess skin.Patience is key!I’ve only had this for a few days but I already see a big difference. At first I tried using it 3 times a day and it was too much so I switched to twice, once in AM and once in PM, followed by a generous coat of lanolips. I also have been pairing this with a light mechanical exfoliation using a toothbrush for the PM application and it has helped speed the results along. I will stop the mechanical exfoliation once I get to maintenance.Never in my life have I had lips like this. The wrinkly, puckered look is diminishing, they look fuller and the hard spots of skin are almost gone. My lips are also a beautiful shade of pink now whereas before they were just pale. One coat of lanolips and my lips are as luscious as they’re ever going to get. I hope they make this stuff forever or at the very least I hope this starts a cascade of new and similar chemical lip exfoliants.I hope the company sees this review so they know they have really happy customers out there that never want them to stop making this!The product has not worked for me, it has made my upper lip drier and flaky and lips don't feel hydrated. Quite expensive considering it don't do much.The product was open not recommend to buy it from Amazon!!!This product was delivered on time. I simply apply it, and by the next day I experience some peeling. The product is gentle yet effective. Be sure not to apply right after you exfoliate your lips or you might experience some burning. Other than that, look forward to softer lips. I would definitely purchase again.Not as shown, doesn't work very well. V
