I wanted something simple and cheap but would do the job of holding my chapstick on my lanyard and keys. I need chapstick often and if I don't have it when I need it I am miserable. But I also don't tend to have pockets (let alone chapstick gets melty in ones on pants) but I *do* almost always have a lanyard or my keys on me. This is lightweight and durable, and holds my chapstick well. Been using them for months now and never lost a chapstick. They also make great little gifts.The colored ones get dirty really easily and are difficult to get back to looking decent. Works though.No more losing my Burtsbees lip balm from my pocket! I clip this to a beltloop and always have my lipbalm handy when I'm out walking. The lipbalm stays in the holder very nicely. They come with extra keyring & clip units. (which are always great to have) I just slide the hook of off the extra keyring, and onto the ring that is sewn into the holder.
