I purchased the brown chair mat. This mat is very nice quality and I like it a lot! It is quite attractive and looks beautiful on my hardwood floor. It stays in place and does not move unless I physically move it. My chair rolls around easily and the mat is not slippery. When I first received the mat and put it under my chair, I noticed there were some wrinkles and brought this to the attention of the seller. The seller responded quickly; however, the wrinkles had already disappeared within a day or two of using the mat. The customer service I received was commendable! Thank you RccugmatS! I would definitely buy this mat again! After buying a couple of vinyl/polycarbonate mats from Amazon, the issues with unrolling and flattening proved to be too much of a hassle, so they were returned. If you're looking for a chair mat, the variety in sizes, thicknesses, and materials is dizzying. Finally, we saw this mat; not clear, but textured and carpet-like. It unrolled and laid flat almost immediately. My wife's office chair rolls easily on it and the coverage of the 36 X 48 with Lip was quite adequate. The product label did have check blocks for larger sizes; inclusion of "Lips" unknown. When I saw the hundreds of 5-star reviews, I thought the shipment might include a "reward" from the seller for a good review. There was no such request. This review is straight up. It's a great mat and easy to lay down. I'm confident durability will be good. If it isn't, an update will follow.I really like the quality of material, right size & thickness, and it is sewn on the edges. It glides easily, it is perfect for me and exactly what I am looking for in a chair mat.Over a Saltillo tile floor. Since this tile has a slight dome with 1” wide grout areas as it’s style, I wasn’t sure how it would work.Just tried it out. Helped tremendously in evening out the different heights of the tile but still not perfectly flat or smooth. It will do however. Much better than fighting the chair as it’s roller got caught in the grout cracks after rolling off a domed Saltillo tilePaulI have a relatively deep carpet. The chair legs sink into it. But at least the main purpose of not tearing up the carpet is good.UPDATE: Well the wrinkles are still there, but I am increasing my rating of 1 star for this company to 5 stars because of their excellent customer service. The mark of good company and customer service is not when everything is perfect, but rather how they handle something like this. They have been proactive and very apologetic when reaching out on multiple occasions. This tells me that this matt is not reflective of them or their product. Stuff happens when manufacturing goods. I will be gladly exchanging this matt for another one and am 99.9% positive that it will be perfect.Bought this for my dad cause he rolls a loooot in his room which is so annoying especially at night!! So I started looking for all kinds of chair mats for him (or for entire family). I don’t like the plastic mat which looks like a big tape on the floor, and my mom’s trying to get rid of plastic things in the house which eliminate most mats on Amazon. Then I found glass ones which are too expensive and heavy and dangerous if broke (I once got cut by the glass plate on my nightstand when I was a kid. Yes, my dad uses glass plate to protect my wooden nightstand not me). So absolutely no glass mat. Then I found this one. Doesn’t look cheap at all, no toxic smell, easy to flat, size is perfect for the room, no creases. MOST IMPORTANT-- I barely hear the rolling noise after using this mat! and the mat can also cover ugly scratches which makes the room looks way more better. Now Im gonna buy me one. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!Easy rolling. No damage to my hardwood floors. Nice design/pattern. I'm thoroughly pleased.
