It sealed out all the extra light which most patches do not. All the patches I have tried, they do not work well with glasses. It does not hurt to wear it. I would have paid three times the money for this product, had I known it would work so well and be so inexpensive.So easy to use - once you figure it out. I took a snip & sketch for a reminder. I have double vision. These are way better than all the patches I have purchased. I did not know about this type of patch. Wish Amazon would put it on page one or two at least!These were super easy to use after I had a vitrectomy with a gas bubble inserted in my eye. These allowed me to cover my eye to help with the disconnect between what each eye was "seeing." They were more comfortable than the normal eye patch as there were no straps to slide on my hair and air could get to my eye. I wear contacts, not glasses, so I took the lens out of my good eye side of a pair of sunglasses. I could only use these with glasses less than a certain size. Some of the sunglasses I wanted to use them with were too big for these. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is that I could not use them with my larger glasses.I have diabetic retinopathy and when my eyes bleed, my vision is severely affected. These help to eliminate the strain on my left eye, which gets affected worse.THEY ARE OK
