I feel very mixed about this product, so I will just go through and tell you the pro's and con's and you can decide for yourself.Pro's:Stunning color. Beautiful neutral fire engine red color. It doesn't lean so orange that it makes my teeth look yellow, which is amazing for a coffee/tea drinker like me.Minerals! Enough said. So happy about having inexpensive brands that are also good for the skin.Inexpensive.They have other shades, which is great.Con's:The texture. This is very hard, but somehow not very waxy. It is basically a dry texture. It makes it less-than-quick to apply, because you have to overlap a few "coats" to get an opaque finish.Not smudgeproof, although it says waterproof? It says that it is waterproof, but it comes off on cups, or if you kiss your hand. I haven't dumped my face in water, but waterproof isn't really helpful if it isn't smudgeproof at all.This is one of those plastic like pencils, which I am personally not a fan of when it comes to sharpening. The wax color inside the plastic is obviously a vastly different texture, and you often end up sharpening the plastic just for the tip to fall off because you have to push so hard to sharpen the plastic. A twist up or regular wooden pencil would be easier.I applied this in the morning and had to reapply in the afternoon and in the evening because it was gone from the inside of my lips and almost completely faded from the edges. I did not notice significant, if any, staining, which would have helped the color last longer and not need to reapply so often.Overall, I think this is nice. I definitely think it could use improvement. I have been trying quite a few different things from this brand, and I hope to be able to try more coming up. The color is nice, and if you aren't used to super high end or incredibly pigmented products, this will be perfect for you. If you are shopping for a newbie in the makeup work, this will be great for them because it is healthy and not so intimidating of a product. Reviews are posted for those as well.I love, love, love this color and cannot find anything else like it in another line. It's my favorite go-to, daily lip liner. It's a little waxy but works great as a liner or all over lip color under lipstick/ liquid lipstick to hold lipstick all day.From wife: Went on smooth & stayed on fantastic! All day wear without concern. As it finally started to fade after a straight 24 test run. Yes, even slept in it. Very minimal fading. When it did, it was even & didn't leave any voids on the lips were it was applied. DID REORDER! Also decided to try out some of their other products!Expected to last longer and it was lighter. Nude says but it is very dark.My first time to use a waterproof lip liner. I was surprised this lip liner had a soft and smooth application. Lip liner blends nicely with my lipstick...keep a lip liner sharpener handy! Already bought another one!love the color! doesn't sharpen up as nicely as more expensive pencils. sometimes the liner is off-centered and you scratch your lip with the wood at the tip.It is water proff indeed, it is dry on the lips, but if you use a base lip gloss you should be fine. .long lasting.It snapped in two on its first use. I'm arthritic. It's physically impossible for me to grasp it too hard. It dries out my lips. It wasn't worth the effort to return and at the same time it angers me that it's not recyclable.
