Definitely a lighter shade( I ordered a brown cocoa bean shade but it's a bit lighter)than shown in the pics, but good thick formula and gives a soft velvet look. Non transferable and Only need to put one coat to get a good stain but can add coats to get it darker. On drying it looks soft velvet but could get dry on lips when on longer use. Liked it very much and it has a nice scent.
