I use these for my lip balm containers that requires to dab your finger in (which I think is unsanitary) so these are great for that! And I also use it for lip scrub and lip sleeping masks as well :-)Great for smoothing lip products (I use Seint, and the red lip color is what I intended to use this with), but getting the product on the wand is difficult- you pretty much have to scrape some up, as just a swipe won’t do it. This means too much product goes on lips. I had hoped to use this to avoid staining my finger red. I still use it to blend a 2nd gloss color over my favorite Saffron red.Easy blending.A must have. Great for travel and reuse. They are easy to clean.I love these silicone applicators for why lip treatments that come in a jar. I feel it is so much more sanitary than using fingers and I actually feel like I can use less product so it makes it less wasteful and helps my treatments to last longer!I actually got these hoping they’d work well for applying nail foils. They do! I’m really pleased with them. So, for my purposes, these are great. While I can see that they’d likely work for lip masks and lip gloss, I’m a bit puzzled as to why you’d need something for those as they usually come with applicators that are best suited for the product. And I can’t wrap my mind around attempting to apply eye shadow with these. I tested one of these as an applicator for mica powder on nails (same basic consistency and composition as eye shadow) and it didn’t work at all. Silicone is, by nature, a bit sticky. So the product sticks really well to the silicone and doesn’t want to let go.For my needs, these are functional. And perhaps they have other uses I haven’t discovered yet. But, based on my experience so far, these don’t seem very multi-purpose to me.These are actually pretty good lipstick or lip balm brushes. They say you can also use these for eyeshadow. Though I haven't tried them yet for eyeshadows, I suspect that they really would only work for a cream eyeshadow or for one of those really good rich almost creamy powder types. I have used them for lipsticks and I really like them. They help to blend the lipstick, as well as push it deeper into the pores and crevices of the skin of the lips. Also help to control shaping lines along the lips.Appreciate that they give you 6 of these brushes. I like to lace them in different rooms and purses. Glad they have caps on them. Not too sure of the sturdiness as of yet since they are still fairly new for me. Honestly, they feel as though they may have a limited shelf life and as though they will eventually fall apart after so many uses. Then again, I might be totally wrong. Only time and continued use will tell... and they will be getting a lot of use out of me.Bonus - no brush hairs to have to pick out of your lips!I just love these! I don’t wear eye makeup too often so I’m always having to buy new applicators. No more with these. The silicone is soft, pliable and so easy to wash. Now I always have clean sanitary eyeshadow applicators. And there is a cap for each one to prevent dust & germs getting on them between uses. Terrific product!
